CHRISTCHURCH ATTACK

New Zealand was shaken to its core in an unprecedented terror attack in which a white supremacist mowed down the 49 people including 5 Indians and leaving many injured on friday 15 March in two mosques of the christchurch city.
The Australia Based 28 year old Man, named Brenton Tarrant has taken responsibility for the most gruesome terror attack in which several innocent people were lost their lives in the most safest place of the world.
Whole world was shocked by the sheer brazeness of his nefarious behaviour. The police and the citizens were horrified at the macabre nature of the killing. The suspect live streamed a video of the carnage on social media and also left behind a 74 page manifesto titled 'The Great Replacement'.
What The Manifesto is all about
The Manifesto titled 'The Great Replacement' largely spoke about removing invaders from european soil. It specifically talked about invasions from India, China, Turkey and he also described these countries as "Potential nation enemies to the East"
The Manifesto stepped in anti-muslim sentiment refers to 'non-whites' as invaders who treathens to replace the white people. Now it is becoming apparent that the attack was an act of regional Pogrom. The attack also explains how he decides on the location for the attack. How he had been preparing for the attack for two years and this specific attack in christchurch for three months.
Prime minister Jacinda Ardern condoled the families of deads , describes it as "the most darkest day in New Zealand" and made it clear "this was a terrorist attack of extraordinary and unprecedented violence that had no place in New Zealand"
The Radicalisation Phase
Brenton Tarrant has travelled across the world for seven years, during which it is beleived that his radicalisation happened. He radicalised the most when he was on a expedition journey to Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan occupied kashmir as well as North Korea.

A facebook post featuring a picture of Tarrent from Gilgit-Baltistan region in which he apparantly praising pakistan as an "Incredible place to filled with the most earnest, kind hearted and hospitable people of the world". He also urged the pakistani government to make visa process easier and smoother to encourage tourism.
Aftermaths of Christchurch Attacks
The people of the Christchurch city are living in state of fear following the attack. The government must bear the onus for citizens safety. So they have pass stringent rules so that such unprecedented attacks should not happen again.
The rules are as follows :
1. It is now illegal for anyone in New Zealand to view, possess or distribute the video of the christchurch attack in any form, including social media platform.
2. All Assault rifles, semi automatic weapons and high capacity magazines will be banned in New Zealand following the attack.
However, such attack are inevitable but these rules can help to some extend.
