Anti- satellite missile (A-sat) There is a jubilation in the citizens of the country as India successfully launched a mission to test its own anti- satellite (A-Sat) capabilities in space on wednesday, 27 march 2019. Prime minister Narendra Modi designated this test as Mission Shakti and hailed its success as "an unprecedented achievement" that makes India "a space power".
